THE LOWDOWN: One of the highest rated applications found on Apple’s app store and easily the biggest selling mobile game of all time, Tetris continues to sell by the bucket load. The latest version comes with an array of different options to make things more interesting, from the swinging wrecking ball mode to ‘bubble wrap’ mode, magic crayon mode and all sort of other complex and confusing possibilities. While some Tetris experts have complained that the game is a tad short (the iPhone version doesn’t have an infinite – or ‘marathon’ – mode, like the initial lengthy game boy version that seemed to go on forever), but most less experienced players will find the array of options ample for hours of entertainment.
