Xingtone Signs Worldwide Distribution Agreement with Roxio® To Bring Xingtone Ringtone Creator™ Software to Premier Retailers

New Partnership Expands Xingtone Availability Beyond Online, Giving Millions Access to Simple Real Music Ringtone Creation for Wireless Phones

Xingtone, a leader in mobile content distribution, announced today its first "brick and mortar" distribution agreement with Roxio, a division of Sonic Solutions® (NASDAQ:SNIC), the leader in digital media software, for the company's Xingtone Ringtone Creator software.

Under the terms of the agreement, Roxio will use its established sales and marketing organization, multi-channel distribution experience, and expertise in selling to the mass consumer market to increase Xingtone brand awareness and maximize the sales potential of its Xingtone Ringtone Creator.

Xingtone Ringtone Creator allows consumers to take music they already own via CD, downloaded MP3s, WAV or similar file, and create unique, free, real music (True Tone) ringtones for mobile phones. The built-in recording capability also allows customers to record their own ringtones. Unlike similar products, Xingtone's solution is truly simple and cable-free via over-the-air (OTA) transmission at the click of a button.

Mobile entertainment research firm Consect estimates that the mobile ringtone market in the U.S. will reach $500 million in 2005, up from $300 million in 2004.

Software system requirements are an Internet connection, Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP or Mac 10.2.8.
