About A Perfect CircleA rock super group consisting of members of Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins and Queen of the Stone Age (as well we assorted others), A Perfect Circle - in their various connotations - have released three full length LPs to date. They play a brand of old-school heavy rock, dripping with hidden meaning. The band's established names helped debut Mer de Noms sell a record 188,000 copies in its opening week. Anti war songs, John Lennon covers, songs about lead singer James Keenan's mother and hidden references to the band's guitar technician all feature. A Perfect Circle Have been on hiatus since 2004, though a remix CD has appeared in the meantime. The band, through a vocal Keenan, recently announced they were working on new material, though the line up that will be involved in this and when it will take place is not yet known.
