About Dashboard ConfessionalHaving started out as an intimate solo project by lead singer Chris Carrabba, Dashboard Confessional soon developed into one of the foremost Emo bands in the world. Albums 'A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar' and 'Dusk and Summer' both peaked at number two in the US album charts, while Stolen and Don't Wait remains the band's most successful singles. A new double album is expected in November 2009, featuring both full and acoustic versions of the new tracks. The movie Spider Man 2 - which featured the song 'Vindicated' - helped Dashboard Confessional to their current level of fame, which could be best summarized as a widespread cult status. Chris describes the band as 'his diary', in the form of song writing, and is known to be a dedicated Christian, though he tends not to express his beliefs in his songs.
