About EaglesAging soft rockers from L.A., Eagles have become a massive iconic band off the back of a series of astonishing singles like Tequila Sunrise, Lyin' Eyes, New Kid In Town and - perhaps one of the best known songs of a generation - Hotel California. The band have picked up six Grammy Awards, and, despite a 14 year break between 1980 and 1994, still tour sporadically with great success. In 1998 Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame, while former member Don Felder's law suit against the band after being fired was dismissed in 2007 after an out of court settlement. Their album Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971 to 1975 is the biggest selling album of all time in the US. Prior to the bands break up in 1980, they played an infamous set in Long Beach, during which two members repeatedly threatened to beat each other throughout the performance.
