About Fatboy SlimFatboy Slim - who, contrarily to poplar belief, was born Quentin Cook not Norman Cook - is a phenomenally successful UK trip hop DJ who started out as a member of Marxist indie stars The Housemartins. His most successful album, 'You've Come Along Way Baby', achieved substantial international success, and included the hits Praise You; Right Here, Right Now; The Rockefeller Skank and Build It Up, Tear It Down. Fatboy - who's actually fairly normally proportioned - went on to host a massive free UK dance festival on Brighton Beach, later closed down due to safety issues related to its impressive popularity (the second event attracted an estimated quarter of a million people). It later reopened as a ticketed event. Cook has at least a dozen other pseudonyms, and is married to TV personality Zoe Ball. He's also responsible for starting Brighton's notorious Boutique nightclub.
