About Hell Is For HeroesUnderground post hardcore band Hell Is For Heroes were widely tipped as the next big thing when they burst onto the scene in 2003 with much anticipated debut 'Neon Handshake', which won them massive critical acclaim and pushed their videos to top slots on a variety of major music channels. Singles I Can Climb Mountains and Folded Paper Figures gained particularly impressive live reputations, and were followed by a period the band described as 'years on the road in a bus', and eventually led to them giving the band a break in 2008. A web announcement read "this is our last stint of the road until the reunion tour of 2037, we're spending more time at home working on other projects". Many see Hell Is For Heroes as a missed opportunity, arguing the band had significant talent and it was only a matter of time before they assaulted the rock mainstream.
