About I Am KlootManchunian three-piece Indie rockers I Am Kloot formed in 1999, and released debut album Natural History in 2001. A dispute with record label Echo, who the band believed had not shown enough financial support for their endeavors, lead to limited success from the opening few albums, including the last minute cancellation of the release of single I Believe. Life In A Day, 3 Feet Tall and Over My Shoulder have all charted in the UK, while an appearance on John Peel's sessions helped win the band gain a substantial underground fan base. A fifth album is expected in early 2010, and has the working title The Sky At Night; tracks will be produced by members of successful indie band Elbow. I am Kloot were originally known as The Mouth, though the earlier band had a slightly different line up.
