About Jane's AddictionCurrently in their fourth re-incarnation (they reformed for the third time in 2008), Los Angeles rockers Jane's Addiction are one of the lead bands of the alternative rock scene, having been at the heart of the movement bringing it to popularity in the early 90s. Blighted by substantial drug problems throughout their career (one member of the band claims to have no recollection of recording their second album due to his heroin problems), Jane's Addiction has managed only three albums so far, with all three going platinum in the US. 2003's Just Because is their most successful single to date, peaking at number 14 in the UK and lifting the band to the top 100 US singles chart for the first time. During their most recent split, members of Jane's Addiction formed the bands 'The Panic Channel' and 'The Satellite Party'.
