About Jason AldeanHaving learnt to play guitar by ear at an early age, country singer Jason Aldean has an addiction to performing. It's been a long road to success for the Georgia native, having spent over five years trying to nail down a record deal through showcases, and seen two slip through his fingers. When he did finally release an album, 2005's self-titled effort produced a number one on the US country charts with Why, a song about regrets in realizing you've hurt someone you love, and went on to sell in excess of a million copies. Since then Jason's singles have achieved an impressive seven country chart top 10s in eight attempts, including number one singles She's Country and Big Green Tractor, while his latter two albums Relentless and Wide Open have both scored top 5 positions on the mainstream pop charts. Jason, who often talks about feeling particularly blessed to have 'made it' recently performed with Brian Adams on US national television.
