About KeanePlaying a distinctive, piano heavy form of soft rock, Keane found fame off the back of their impressive debut album 'Hopes and Fears', which features the high-charting UK singles Somewhere Only We Know, Everybody's Changing and Bedshaped. They've since released two more albums (every one of the three peaked at number one in the UK), and scored further chart singles with Is It Any Wonder? and Nothing In My Way. Increasingly known for their live performances - which once included an unborn baby moving in time to their music - the band has become a massive favorite on the UK festival circuit, and recently became one of only four acts to have two albums inside Q Magazine's top 20 British albums ever. Before naming themselves Keane and playing a full six years of promotional live shows without releasing an album, the band was known as The Lotus Eaters and then Cherry Keane.
