About Mad CaddiesThe revolving door of assorted musicians that make up ska punks Mad Caddies has been on the road since 1995. The Californians are signed to iconic ska label Fat Wreck Chords, and the five albums to date are littered with musical curveballs incorporating influences from Reggae, dancehall and jazz, alongside their more traditional trumpet-punk stylings. Their biggest hit to date, Drinking for 11 is slow paced by the Caddies standards, and references ska punk's rampant alcohol culture, while in songs like State of Mind the Caddies evoke a rhythmic, reggae infused sound. Mad Caddies strong connection with NOFX singer and record label owner Fat Mike has led to contributions to the song writing process on several tracks, and helped the band to become a popular mainstay on the US alternative punk circuit.
