About Men At WorkA revolving door of musicians make up Australian pop band Men At Work, whose greatest successes came in the early 80s, when they crashed the top of the album charts with debut Business as Usual and simultaneous number one single Down Under. Singles Who Can It Be Now and Overkill also peaked near the top in the US, despite the bands first album being rejected for American release on two separate occasions by record label Columbia. Involvement with the Sydney Olympic games helped their late 90s reunion along, with the band still focusing heavily on their old style: the poppy end of rock music, with distinctive flutes, harmonicas and saxophones thrown in to the mix. Former member Ron Strykert recently caused substantial Men At Work controversy, after being arrested for death threats against vocalist Colin Hay.
