Her biggest hits to date came with US number five The Game of Love - a duet with Carlos Santana - and a number six single with All You Wanted, while 2003 album Hotel Paper - a spiritual effort featuring asides on the mysteries of bus stations - has sold in excess of 1.1 million copies. Other musical affiliations have included Gavin DeGraw and lifelong friend Jessica Harp. Aside from the music, Branch's lifetime ambition is to open a bakery in Nashville, an aim that she's put on hold for now in order to concentrate on her musical career. It all took off when a bracelet she'd been given by singer Jewel broke in 2000. Jewel had given her the bracelet with the message 'when this breaks, you'll become famous'.
