About MobyAn eclectic, slow-building superstar who made his name in the clubs of New York and the underground raves of the UK, Moby has fast become an icon of 21st century music. Despite his dance floor centred reputation, Moby dabbles successfully in rock too, and actually started his career - prior to the trendy New York club DJ roles - performing as front man in two heavy punk bands. Famous for his green ethos and vegan diet, this all-rounder at one stage, for environmental reasons, even refused to travel to shows by car, using only public transport.
