Amazingly, to date this has included 18 full-length releases, incorporating various content from recordings of the live shows to collections of comical songs from members Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gillian, Michael Palin and Terry Jones. Whichever album you pick up, the tracks are invariably ridiculous, and incorporate titles including Eric the Half a Bee, Every Sperm is Sacred, The Lumberjack Song and the now-legendary Always Look of the Bright Side of Life from the film The Life of Brian. All of the members of the Monty Python phenomenon have gone on to have successful solo performance careers; their early efforts even resulted in the word 'pythonesque' - a byword in surrealist comedy - being added to the Oxford English Dictionary.
