About Patsy ClineMany eye Patsy Cline with a 'what could have been' outlook, still saddened by her death in a plane crash at her peak way back in 1963. The country musician from Virginia was expressive and inspirational, and clearly ready to become a regular fixture at the very peak of the world of country music. She only released three studio albums in her lifetime (and three more posthumously), but still achieved two number one US country chart hits with I Fall To Pieces and She's Got You, as well as numerous other charting singles. Having dropped out of high school to support her family by waitressing across the street as a teenager, Cline (real name Virginia Hensley) was an unlikely success story, but rode her phenomenal voice to a peak that seems only to grow even in to the 21st century.
