About Saves the dayHailing from Princeton, New Jersey, Saves The Day are one of the longest lasting bands to gain the 'Emo' moniker, although their music could also be described as a mix of indie rock and pop punk, falling somewhere in the middle of the spectrum; less hardcore than many indie acts but heavier than the big names in Pop Punk like Blink 182 and Sum 41.Currently, the band consists of frontman and guitarist Chris Conley, Rhythm Guitarist Arun Bali, drummer Durijah Lang and bassist Manuel Carrero, although a Chris Conley is the only person from the original line-up who remains in the band today.In fact, the bands history can be traced back even further to when Conley was only 13. Back then, the band was labelled "Indifference". Saves the Day The released two albums before their breakthrough 'Stay What You Are" in 2001 reached the billboard charts, propelled by success of the singles 'At Your Funeral' and 'Freakish'.Saves the Day are currently writing their sixth studio album, Daybreak.
