About Scissor SistersScissor sisters are a four piece New York based band that formed in 2001. Their style incorporates Disco, Glam Rock and Pop and is heavily rooted in the New York club scene. Although they have experienced little success in their home country, Scissor Sisters have become very successful in Europe, Canada, Australia and in particular, the UK. The band first became noticed in the UK when the Pink Floyd cover "Comfortably Numb" became noticed by underground DJs. The song was later released as a single and reached number 10 in the UK charts. This was followed by a further four top 20 hits from their self titled debut. Their second album Ta-Dah released in 2005 included the hit 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' which became number one in the UK and Australian charts and the Euro Hot 100. The band is currently continuing to work on their third album.
