About ScooterGerman electronic group Scooter are very well known in the UK club scene and pop charts even though they are virtually unheard of outside of Europe. They've moved through a range of electronic styles in their career from Techno to Happy Hardcore, with their later work being described as Jumpstyle by many music critics.The band is made up of Michael Simon, Rick J. Jordan and H.P Baxxter and they've sold over 14 million records worldwide.The band have been achieving steady chart success since their formation in 1993 although they've always done better in England than in their home country of Germany with their recent studio album 'Jumping All Over the World' reaching number one in the UK charts.The album had been their first release in half a decade although the band remained touring during that time. In 2009, a tribute album to the band was released featuring songs from Status Quo and The Bloodhound Gang.
