About ShaggyShaggy (Real Name Orville Richard Burrell) is a Jamaican-American reggae singer. He had his first hit 'Oh Carolina' in 1993 after his return from service in the Gulf War during which he had perfected his singing voice whist entertaining fellow troops. This was followed by further big hits including 'Boombastic'in 1995. In 2001 Shaggy made a comeback with worldwide hit singles 'It Wasn't Me'and 'Angel', taken from the album "Hot Shot" which topped both the UK and US album charts. In total Shaggy has made nine albums including a best of, which made number 22 in the UK charts in 2008. He continues to record tracks and make appearances but there has been no suggestion of further albums from the singer.
