About Simple PlanSimple Plan was formed in 1999 and has become a major success in the world of pop punk. Hailing from Montreal in French Canada, the five piece band is well known for their catchy pop songs and light punk riffs in the style that made bands like Sum 41 and Blink 182 famous. The band has won several awards in their home country, including Favourite Canadian Band Award in Canada in 2002-2005 and 2008.The bands line-up includes Pierre Bouvier, David Dsroesiers, Jeff Stinco, Sebastien Lefebvre and Chuck Comeau.The band has opened for some very big names in music, including Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte and Green Day. In 2002, Simple Plan's debut album 'No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls" was released and the band toured the world, playing over 300 live concerts. A year later they were headlining the Warped Tour.
