About Snow PatrolFormed in Scotland in 1994, Snow Patrol consist of a mixture of Scottish and Irish musicians that have recently seen massive commercial success with their indie rock sound which has lead to the band selling over 7 million albums worldwide.Only frontman Garry Lightbody remains in the band from the original line-up when their name was 'Shrug'. Joining him are Nathan Connolly, Paul Wilson, Jonny Quinn and Tom Simpson, along with several other touring members.Their major breakthrough came with the album 'Final Straw' which produced several hit singles for the band including the UK top 10 hit 'Run', with the album release stateside seeing over 250,000 sales worldwide. The album has since gone 5x Platinum in the UK although even that can't compete with the huge success of the follow up album, 'Eyes Open' which reached 7x Platinum in both the UK and Ireland.
