About StingBorn in 1951 in the small town of Wallsend England, Sting is a famous English musician that has been recording music since 1972. Sting moved to London in 1997 where he formed the Police along with Stewart Copeland and Henry Padovani. The band played mostly new wave music and went on to win six Grammy Awards between 1978 and 1983. With the Police, Sting released five studio albums, all of them reaching platinum status in America.Sting has also been a prolific solo artist, producing some massive hits during his 40 years in the music industry. He has released 8 studio albums, two of which have reached number one in the UK charts; '?Nothing Like the Sun' and 'The Soul Cages', released in 1987 and 1991 respectively.Sting and the Police recently reformed and began a worldwide tour. Sting is currently working on a new solo album.
