About T-painT-Pain (Real name Faheem Rasheed Najm) was born in 1985 and has been active in the hip hop scene since 2004. He's well known as a hip hop and R&B singer-songwriter and also as a producer of music. The rapper has had ten singles reach top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100 as well as win a Grammy for the single 'Good Life'. T-Pain has made 3 full length studio albums. With his 2007 album 'Epiphany' reaching number one in the US charts and spawning three hit singles including the US number one 'Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')'. His newest album 'Thr33 Ringz' wasn't quite as commercially successful but did reach Gold status in the States.T-Pain is currently working in collaboration with Lil Wayne in the group 'T-Wayne' after the duo collaborated with each other in previous years. The group is due to release an album sometime in 2009.
